Version 5.0: Phase 1 & 2 Genshin Impact – Exciting New Characters and Features Unveiled

Here is Genshin Impact Banners for Version 5.0 Phase 1 & 2!

 

The new Genshin Impact version is set to release on August 28, 2024, bringing new banners along with it. In this update, we’ll discuss which banners will be featured in Version 5.0, Phases 1 & 2, and provide some details on the kits of the new characters.

Version 5.0 Phase 1 Banners

With Version 5.0 releasing tomorrow we will get 300 Primogems because of 5 Hour maintenance. We will be welcoming a new Region as well as a new character with it and one returning character.

1. Mualani

Version 5.0 introduces “Mualani,” a 5-star Hydro catalyst user rumored to be a power creep, surpassing even Neuvillette, the Hydro Dragon himself. Mualani is a unique character, combining the roles of travel guide, watersports shop owner, and surfing pro into one. With Mualani, players can experience all three professions in a single, exciting package. The Genshin community is loving Mualani’s playful personality.

All Natlan characters seem to have something related to exploration in their kits, as far as we know. For example, Mualani can ride a shark when she uses her Elemental Skill, dealing significant damage with its shark bite attack. Additionally, she gains an extra stamina bar while in her Elemental Skill, similar to Wanderer. On the other hand, Mualani’s Ultimate deals a massive single-target Hydro damage.

2. Kaedehara Kazuha

Kaedehara Kazuha is a returning character from Inazuma. He is an Anemo sword user who excels as a support character and is widely used by the Genshin community. Kazuha is one of the most popular Anemo characters due to his versatility, as he can fit into almost any team. For veteran Genshin players, he could be a top choice if you don’t already have him. Kazuha is especially valuable for shredding enemy resistance, allowing your Main DPS to deal massive damage. He’s definitely not a character you should overlook.

 

Version 5.0 Phase 2 Banners

1.  Kinich

In Version 5.0 Phase 2 banners, we will see another new 5-star character from Natlan named Kinich, a Dendro claymore user with a unique playstyle. Kinich has quickly gained popularity among Genshin players, largely due to his little companion who is always by his side. Kinich has a quiet personality and seems like an introvert, but his companion is quite the opposite. His companion, the “Almighty Dragonlord” K’uhul Ajaw, also known as Ajaw, has a lively and contrasting personality compared to Kinich.

Kinich’s Elemental Skill allows him to throw a grappling hook and swing through the air. If you aim the Elemental Skill at an opponent, Kinich will enter the Night Souls Blessing state, enabling him to perform special attacks on enemies. This Night Souls Blessing state lasts for 10 seconds. While in this state, Kinich’s Normal Attacks will fire loop shots that circle around grappled enemies, dealing NightSoul-aligned Dendro damage and generating 3 NightSoul points. The damage from these loop shots is considered Elemental Skill damage.

When Nightsoul points reach their maximum, you can press the Elemental Skill button again to unleash the “Scalespiker Cannon,” which consumes all Nightsoul points and deals NightSoul-aligned Dendro damage. You can also hold the Elemental Skill button to aim and shoot the Scalespiker Cannon more precisely. After firing the Scalespiker Cannon, Kinich will automatically grapple to a target again.

When Kinich grapples an opponent or fires the Scalespiker Cannon, a blind spot appears near the opponent. If Kinich enters this blind spot, it disappears and grants him 4 Nightsoul points. Kinich’s Ultimate unleashes the power of his companion, Ajaw, dealing NightSoul-aligned AoE Dendro damage. Ajaw will also periodically unleash his dragon breath, dealing additional NightSoul-aligned AoE Dendro damage.

 

2. Raiden Shogun

The Almighty Raiden Shogun, the Electro Archon of Inazuma, wields the power of lightning in her quest for eternity. She can significantly enhance your account, functioning as a Main DPS, Sub DPS, or even a Support character—versatile enough to fit into any team composition. Raiden Shogun is an essential character for your roster and is F2P friendly, requiring minimal investment. She performs exceptionally well with many F2P weapons, such as “The Catch,” which can be obtained through fishing and is considered the best F2P weapon for her. If you don’t already have her, Raiden Shogun is a must-have addition to your Genshin roster.
